I really need to feel heard & understood

so, I just quit my job, released an entire album, hit two months sober from alcohol, and then carved a gaping hole in my savings due to the siren known as nitrous oxide. but yeah, two months… that’s almost the whole time it took to make the album.

i’m going to rehab soon, though. as soon as I find the right place. it may take time.

anyway, here’s the album below! i poured my heart and soul into my lyrics, and lost a lot of sleep during production. the first part (tracks 1-7) is kind of a standalone concept. it is separate from the rest.

can you guess how the title is pronounced?

i haven’t done any marketing yet, so you will be one of the first to hear it. it goes live on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, etc. on July 24th.

if you can, it’s important that you use two headphones, and wait to read the lyrics until you’ve heard them first. it’s like reading the script before watching a movie.

i recently met one of the guys responsible for Goonslumps. Dirty Nerd. i wrote this next track later that same day (written while at work and totally not on a $2000 nitrous bender):

anyway, Dirty Nerd said i could use this beat as long as I gave him credit. i was finally able to record it yesterday!

this will be my 22nd track released in the last four months, and the first time in a looong time that i’ve used someone else’s beat.
